In anticipation of tonights main event, Hospitality Leeds, for which I have been waiting eagerly since the last one in February, the last 24 hours have involved lots of Drum and Bass music! I've picked some of the best tracks that I've been playing to share with you; hopefully these will get you in the mood for whatever you have planned this weekend.
What a tune! The original of this was fantastic anyway, and this is a really good remix by The Prototypes, who I think are definitely going to be worth keeping an eye on. This is a perfect feel good track for the summer.
This next track features two artists that I really love - Icicle is amazing anyway, and Alix Perez has added his own touch of remix magic to this track. This has a nice lowdown dirty vibe to it, love it!
This track is a forthcoming release on TC's new label, 'Don't Play', and this track Tap Ho will be the A side for the second release. This is another dirty little smasher from TC, and I can't wait to hear this dropped in a club!
This Ulterior Motive Remix of a Rockwell tune is fantastic - it's called Noir, and that is a perfect name for it! It has a deliciously dark jazzy kind of feel, while still being storming drum and bass.
This next track is another Icicle tune, that was released a couple of months ago. This has a naughty beat to it, it just makes me want to nod my head with attitude haha! :)
Next up, this is a 30 minute mix from Metrik - this is the guestmix that he did last week for Annie Nightingales show on Radio 1, and if you check out the tracklist, there are some little gems in there! Click here to listen.
