Sounds from the kitchen...

As if uploading a second update in one day, after two weeks of radio silence wasn't spoiling you guys enough, wait until you get your listening tackle around the delights that this particular update has in store for you!

I've already posted a few individual tracks before today from a very talented friend of mine, Chaney, and today I have a few little treats that have been uploaded to his soundcloud page recently, that have all come out of his Kitchen Studio.

However first of all, the awesome dj Jon BW has mixed together a number of Chaney's psytrance tunes into a fantastic showcase mix - this is one hour and 20 minutes of the finest new psytrance, put together into a really good, driving and enjoyable mix! Click here to listen and for a free download. Full tracklist is included, and some of the individual tracks are also available for free download as well, with still others due to be released on a variety of labels.

I've listened to this mix a number of times since I first heard it, and I enjoy it just as much every time I hear it!

Click here to go to Chaney's soundcloud page, where you can listen to all of his tracks, and download those that are available as free downloads. Chaney produces music in a variety of styles; in addition to psytrance, there is also some gorgeous techno, dubstep, hard house, hard trance and high energy trance. When you listen to them, you can see that he masters all of these styles as well.

To finish off with today, I'm going to link you to his newest tracks, all of which are techno. These are fantastic, driving, energetic numbers, and all are highly enjoyable.

First up, we have a driving "raw ass techno mix" of the War of the Worlds - this combines thumping techno with the instantly recognisable theme tune from the War of the Worlds, and it's great! Click here to listen.

Next up we have a tune called de-struc-tive, which again has a lot of energy to it, and a really nice beat. Click here to listen.

The last techno track is one called Loose Control, and this is quite a savage little number! Click here to listen.

To finish off with, I can't resist sharing a track that I've already included on my blog previously - however my newer readers may have missed this, and so won't have heard the psychedelic loveliness before! This is an absolutely gorgeous remix of Tomcraft's "Loneliness", and I absolutely love it!! Click here to listen.

I hope you enjoy these, remember to follow his soundcloud page if you do like them and please pass them on to your friends! Share the love!

Keep tuned this week as I aim to get through the massive backlog of tunes I have to share, and also keep your eyes peeled in the next couple of weeks for a special update on Jon BW, showcasing some of his music and mixes for you!
