Waves of Destruction

I was horrified this morning to wake up once again to news of yet another massive natural disaster, this time a massive earthquake just off the coast of Japan that caused a huge tsunami. The images of destruction and devastation were simply awful, and all of the many people who have been and will be affected by this are in my thoughts.


And so on that somber though, on to the music where things are a little bit brighter at least, as we have some good news for music lovers today - Miike The Teknoist has confirmed that his second album will be released soon! Click here for more information.

This is one of my favourite tunes from The Teknoist, it's a gorgeous track, and I love the fact that this was dedicated to my cousin Laura - a Lion Girl if ever you've seen one! A beautiful track for a beautiful lady, this is a piece of art from a man who hears music in everything. I'm sure his second album, 'Trainwreck Magnetism', will more than live up to the promise of the first!


Next up I've got a bit of classic Trade hard house track for you from back in the day! I am really looking forward to seeing the exclusive Tony de Vit set at Magna next month, and I haven't been able to get enough of this track recently.

It has a quite ambient feel to it, but manages to be quite dark and have a lot of energy at the same time. Love it!
