Have no fear... B Complex is here!

B Complex was one of my favourite DnB producers in 2010, and I absolutely can't wait to see him at two sure-to-be-fantastic Hospitality DnB events. The first of these is Detonate & Hospitality Sheffield @ Plug on the 4th of March, and then in April is the next Hospitality Brixton event, which I am so excited for! At the moment, no other events or parties have quite the same excitement for them as the Hospital Records events do, and the atmosphere is always amazing! Click the links for details on the Hospitality Brixton and Hospitality Sheffield events.

Anyway, back to what I was trying to say - B Complex is absolutely awesome, I love so many of his tracks and can't wait to see him tear up the dancefloor! Camo & Krooked were the highlight for me at the last hospitality event, and I'm sure that B Complex is going to impress at the next.

So here for my listening pleasure - and hopefully yours too! - are some of my favourite B Complex tracks, and also a mix that he did for Hospital Records ahead of their first event at Brixton Academy in Autumn last year.

This first track is one of the newest from B Complex, called Blissful Ignorance, and I just love the melodic intro - if you read the interview that he did for Hospital Records last summer, you realise just how wide ranging his musical influences are, which is something that I always admire in an artist. This has a lovely mellow sound to it, and you can certainly recognise the classical influences which is fantastic.

This track needs no introduction really - Beautiful Lies, one of my all time favourites from this guy! I have turned around and walked back on to the dancefloor more than once when I've heard this coming in en route to the smoking area / toilet / other rooms... It has so much energy, I love it!

And lastly, this is an old B Complex track from the mid noughties - it's banging though! I like this a lot! :)

EDIT: I've actually just come back to add a link to a couple of final videos of the day for B Complex, as I've been going through all his tracks that I have this morning.

"It's too musical" is absolutely awesome! I love the way it switches and changes throughout the track, it has a really driving energy to it, and a lot of different sounds and layers that add to the overall complexity of the music. Really enjoyable - and certainly not too musical haha but then again, can anything be too musical? :)

Redemption is another great track, with a great bassline and a lovely musicality to it. Fantastic stuff! This was remixed by High Contrast and London Elektricity for the 2009 "This is Drum & Bass" Hospital Records compilation album. Again, this shows his wide ranging influences, and I love it when the tune drops at around the 4 minute mark.
