Want to feel 'Detatched' this weekend?

This weekend heralds the start of a hectic few weekends for myself; it has to be said that I'm looking forward to every single one of them, but this weekend promises yet more techno mayhem. After the incredible music that was played at the Future-Past event a couple of weeks ago, which is hosted by those lovely guys down at Detatched, I am going to enjoy every single minute of those gorgeous pounding techno beats. CJ Bolland played an awesome set, but I'm hoping that some of the heavy hitters on this Saturday's line up are going to give him a good run for his money.

Click here  for the full event details on facebook, and if you want to go, write your name on the wall for paying guestlist places. If techno is your thing, then click here to join the Detatched group and find out about upcoming events.

Now for your listening pleasure, and to whet your appetite for the fun that this weekend promises, I have a few little treats from some of the names on the bill down at Detatched.

This first tune is a gorgeous collaboration from two of the names gracing the line up this week - this is Lucy and Xhin with LX2. This is a really nice track that builds, and switches and changes all the way through. A fantastic perfect piece of music, it's a tune that I am confident will sound amazing on the sound system at the Beaverworks.

I featured a live mix from Xhin on my blog a couple of weeks ago, and luckily for us, we've managed to get another mix that was awarded the title of of mix of the day on the Resident Advisor website earlier this week. You can check out this mix by clicking here.

Next up we have a gorgeous deep house / tech house track from John Daly, who will also be playing. This is deep chilled out house music at its best, fantastic stuff.

If you like your house music deep, then you can also check out John Daly's Hybrid Life podcast on soundcloud by clicking here.

This last track for the evening is from Kassem Mosse, a German producer of outstanding quality who has been making waves across a number of genres, from dubstep to deep house for quite a few years now. At Detatched this weekend, we hope he will be making waves on the dancefloor, as he headlines the Warehouse room, which will be hosting the deep house for the evening. This is a fantastic track, and I'm sure that he will deliver the goods on Saturday.

I hope to see lots of you there, for techno fun and frolics, and some deep house grooving! See you on the dancefloor.
