First up, we have some classic trance courtesy of the one and only Ben Stevens. I'm not a huge lover of trance to be honest, and for me to enjoy it, it can't be too airy fairy, and it must have a really nice driving beat to it. This satisfies on all of those counts, and as always with Ben, the mixing is superb. Enjoy! Click here to listen and download.
Next up, we have some delightful mash up mayhem, covering a number of genres, we have free mixes from the Squatters. They are wizards on the decks, and manage to mash up music covering house, breakbeat, hip hop, electro, drum and bass etc, and fuse them all together to create a delightful sound! Lucky for us, there are a number of free mixes on their website - click here to go to the download page!
Next up, we have the New Blood 011 album released on Med School Music (the sister label of Hospital Records). This is fantastic, if you haven't bought this yet I urge you to do so now! You can listen to samples of the tracks by clicking here, and there are links to the Hospital shop to buy this in the music description.
One of the tracks that I just love on this album is Colours of Distance, by Eleven8 - give it a listen here.
To finish off as always, here is some lovely uplifting Drum and Bass and early rave classics, just perfect for such a glorious day!!
This first track has such a nice melody to it, and would be great for driving around with the top down / windows open, enjoying the warm sunshine on your skin and the wind in your hair! Simply fab! :)
Next up we have a rave classic from the early 90's, uploaded to YouTube by Blu Mar Ten - this is absolutely fantastic, and again, perfect for listening to loud in the glorious sunshine.
Next up, we have The Prototypes remix of Feel Good, by Modestep - and this is a track that does exactly what it says on the tin! This is a fantastic little number!
This last track for today is a great Drum and Bass remix of an all time classic, Baby D - Let me be your Fantasy. This is by J Majik and Wickaman, and it's an epic remix, it has really done justice to the original, and has a fantastic energy and sunny vibe to it. Roll down those windows, and turn up the volume!
