Get back to the music...

Well hello there guys, it's been a little while as things have been pretty hectic recently. The list of music I have to share has been growing, as the time I've had to actually share it has been going down.

However today I have put my foot down and carved out a small niche in my hectic schedule to share with you the more pressing musical delights on my list!!!

First up, on Friday I saw a very impressive live act called Firefarm, and I have to say that I really feel that these guys are worth keeping an eye on as they blew me away! If you get the opportunity to go check them out, make sure you do - take a look at these live videos and you can see for yourself the energy that they bring to their performances!

Next up, we have a studio mix from Drumsound and Bassline Smith, which is fantastic and includes some of the best drum and bass tracks that are about at the moment along with some faves that have been out a while. Click here to listen.

A track on here that I particularly like is the Drumsound and Bassline Smith remix of What can you do for me, by the Utah Saints - check it out here.

Coming up in the next few weeks, we have albums to look forward to from Camo and Krooked and also the Brookes Brothers as well - I cannot wait to hear both of them! I'm also really looking forward to seeing the Brookes Brothers this Friday playing at Hospitality Leeds, at the O2 Academy. The last one was fantastic, and I'm sure that this next one is going to be just as good if not better! There are still tickets left - click here to check out the full line up, and also to buy tickets. There aren't many left so get them now if you want to go!!

This tune by Camo and Krooked was out earlier this year as part of the Time EP on Viper Recordings - this is a dirty little number, simply fantastic. I wish these guys were playing at Hospitality Leeds, I'll just have to make sure I catch them the next time they venture north though.

This next track is one of the tracks that is included on the forthcoming album from the Brookes Brothers. This is a slow tempo tune, but still has a dirty bassline and a good vocal. This sounds perfect for unwinding on a hot summers day, and I can't wait to hear the full album.

This track has been around a while, and has been sending dance floors crazy - this is a heavier, much more uptempo and driving track, and I love it! From listening to these, I feel the album is going to have a mix of tracks, something to suit every mood, and I can't wait until it comes out.

That is everything for today, however I will make a concerted effort to get back tomorrow as I have barely even touched the list of tracks I have to share with you! :) Until then, enjoy the music (and the sunshine!)
